7 days' hire and 2 days lost because of a mechanical problem (we had to change vehicles) and the second vehicle had a problem with the sink draining and there was no sheet. The vehicle was very old and it didn't check which vehicles were leaving.

The handling by the landlord was excellent. Fast, professional, friendly. Minor damage (to the table inside) was accepted and repaired free of charge on return. A clear recommendation!

The staff were very friendly and uncomplicated, the handover was unproblematic, the camper was better equipped than expected, but incredibly old, the upholstery smelled like it was under the bridge, the crockery and cooker were dirty, the curtains were dirty, one of the additionally booked chairs with table was broken and unusable, the table was also so dirty that we threw the sponge away afterwards. At the beginning, we only took a superficial look when we checked in, which was a mistake. On the very first journey, a regulator fell off the gas cooker. Good, it was a cheap vehicle. We wouldn't hire it again.

The pick-up and return was very uncomplicated and good. The cleanliness in the boxes was not so pleasant.

The rented vehicle was of an older generation, with a significant lack of storage space for 4 people. The general condition was very average. However, there were no problems with the engine. A good point in that respect

Great service and efficient

If you can cope with small campers and have no problem making your own bed every day, the Toyota Hiace is a good choice. The only disadvantage: the fridge only works via the second on-board battery. A small solar panel on the roof would not actually be a great expense here, but would be very helpful. In addition, charging the mobile phones via the USB port took a very long time

Originally ordered the hippie hitop and was told it was in a crash so they had to “upgrade” me to a van that was almost double the size. I was planning on taking this on holiday from Sydney to Brisbane (1 way), and was planning on doing some camping in nature along the way in the mountains and around some of the beaches, the size of this van was so large that we were basically forced to stay in paid campgrounds. I was given only one other option (mighty camper), which looked incredibly junky (old, dusty, stains everywhere on the mattress and counters). After asking about other options we were told we only could choose between the RV sized van, or the clunker (mighty camper). We felt completely taken advantage of. As far as the van itself was, it was fine. There was no spatula to cook with, no broom to sweep, the bathroom did have an odor, no fitted sheet, the 2 seatbelts behind the driver and passenger seats were “out of service”, and the bed was absolutely AWFUL (with all the extra space they could have made a more comfortable bed). I’d give the whole experience a 2.5/5 stars, for nothing other than the van worked, had AC and was a relatively newer model.

There was a lot of black mould on the ceiling of the vehicle. After the rental company tried to remove it, we got a replacement car. This was a significant upgrade (Mercedes Sprinter from Britz), but the collection took about 2.5 hours in total.

The interior of the vehicle was very dirty (e.g. bed linen, surfaces and crockery) on collection. In addition, the house battery was broken, which is why the fridge, lights and water pump only worked with the power connected. We tried to sort this out with customer service, but it was an even bigger disaster. Either we were on hold for ages, they hung up directly or the help was useless. For an extremely high rental price, this was very disappointing as we had to go to campsites and had additional costs. I cannot recommend the Hippie Hitop Camper.

The camper was not significantly new, and it showed in places. It did what we wanted it to do, however, some pre rental checks as to the condition of items used would be good. The camper chairs for sitting outside became unusable as the poles poked through the back. The pillows smelt disgusting of other peoples sweat, and I was dubious as to how clean the quilt cover and bed sheets were in all honesty. I covered these in my own items so I knew what was next to my body. The return and collection process was easy. There is no storage for suitcases, and as we had travelled from UK, this became a problem, but we left the bed up all day and left the cases on top. as a whole the van ran well, it is basic, but that's the level we went for to save money. Would I opt for this type of van again?? Would probably opt for a higher level and get a bit more comfort and space. But it was as to be expected for a baseline model.

The campervan was as specified and we felt very comfortable. The hire and return process was also very professional. Some water got into the campervan during heavy rain. This seemed to me to be more of a general problem than one specific to our campervan. The water seemed to be getting into the ventilation opening for the shower heater (not entirely sure).

Vehicles are not fit for rental as had 400,000 miles and was over 20 years old. It broke down and we were left stranded for 3 days. The support was bad. I was told many times over 3 days that i would get a call back for updates but this never happened.

According to the sticker, built 12/21 (or overhauled). Condition was more like a 6+ year old vehicle. Many things rattled: exterior mirrors; cupboard doors, table. Drawers regularly opened while driving. The waste water valve could only be opened and closed with great effort. The hoses for waste water and fresh water were far too short for an 8 metre vehicle. Leaky side window. Leaky shower. Fridge with sporadic breakdowns. Sporadic engine starting problems. Worn windscreen wipers. OK, we were able to complete our 3-week tour as planned. But it wasn't relaxing.

Several items of the motorhome faulty. Fault in the electrical system (alarm), leakage at the window and faulty fastener on drawer which caused it to keep jumping open.

The motorhome was ready for departure. After an excellent explanation, we left immediately.
