Sierra Nevada Loop
This route takes you around the Sierra Nevada Mountain range and back to Los Angeles. On this route, you can also stop off and visit the Yosemite National Park before heading south on the eastern side of the mountain range. Don’t miss out on the Sequoia National Park and Mammoth Lakes.
Things To Do and See
Victoria Beach: situated in Laguna Beach and it is well known for its picturesque white sand and its famous 18m (60 ft) Pirate Tower, built in 1926. There is a wide range of activities to enjoy such as snorkelling, fishing, volleyball and not forgetting swimming.
Joshuia Tree National Park: here you will find lots of places to go rock climbing and it is also the perfect place for photographers as the national park is home to some very unique landscapes.
Hearst Castle: this castle is also known as La Casa Grande. The castle has 165 rooms and there are also 127 acres of land with numerous walkways, gardens and terraces.
Griffith Park: the park spans over 4,300 acres of land and it offers a varied range of attractions including the Los Angeles Zoo, botanical gardens, an open-air Greek theatre and a museum. The park also houses the famous Griffith Observatory with its breathtaking views of Los Angeles.
