We received a vehicle with 50,000 miles on the clock and it ran perfectly. The heating is sufficient, even when it gets down to 0 degrees at night. There were three of us travelling and each of us was able to sleep comfortably in a bed. The pick-up and return of the vehicle were quick, friendly and professional. We can recommend Cruise America without reservation. Thank you for an unforgettable trip!

For our second trip in a row we had problems with the coach battery which had to be replaced again. The Travellers Assist service is not great. You are essentially on your own so you need a good mobile roaming plan to make all the calls. That said Cruise America are generally the cheapest price and the RV is adequate for our needs. The quality of the internal fittings is not the highest quality compared to Road Bear. The interior can look tired and little things broken or not fitting well. But if you are prepared for this the RVs are ok. The actual vehicle is the same whichever company you use so that bit is no different if you are with Road Bear, El Monte or Cruise America. On this trip we managed 11.5 miles per gallon this time so I am pleased with that. We are happy with the way the depot dealt with our problems and the person we dealt with was brilliant, and we were happy with the level of compensation offered on this occasion.

It's a good, practical vehicle that's easy to drive, although it lacks a reversing radar. It's quite noisy...too bad The C30 is good for 5 people, in terms of space There could be more practical storage: nets on the walls to quickly stow things (jumpers, books, etc.) before getting back on the road, hooks for all the towels (there are 3 in the bathroom), shelves with nets in the bedroom, for example. On the other hand, the main safe is very large, and there's an extra small one, which is very good The table that converts into a bed is good but very fragile, we had to repair it twice! The heating didn't work at first There's a fairly efficient pick-up service for repairs As far as sleeping is concerned, the double bench seat is too narrow for 2 adults, and it's not easy to sleep 2 in the alcove. But all the mattresses are quite comfortable, especially the king-size bed!

Very dilapidated motorhome. Under-equipped, with numerous malfunctions: door lock, a non-functioning light on the number plate, poor bodywork condition, interior curtains out of order, broken drinking water pipe seal and the presence of mice inside the vehicle, which caused a great deal of damage.

Overall, everything went well. The hire vehicle was a bit older and the interior noise was very loud when driving and the steering was a bit tight. The vehicle was not particularly clean inside and the equipment with cooking utensils was rather poor - we bought a pan and brought some things from home. The handover process was super relaxed and nice, no problems at all.

On the whole, everything was ok. There were "only" a few little things that we only noticed after taking delivery of the appliance. For example, a plastic nose was broken off in the fridge so that we couldn't put anything in the door compartment. Also, the generator simply switched off 3 times for no apparent reason. After about 20-30 minutes we were able to switch it on again. A pusher was defective, which we were able to repair temporarily and the water hose for the drinking water connection and filling the tank was also missing. We procured this ourselves in consultation with Cruise America and received our money back without any problems. All in all, we can definitely recommend Cruise America (value for money was right).

The vehicle had some clear signs of use, but worked well so far, the refrigerator caused problems during the trip and stopped working, but we were able to solve this due to our technical understanding.

Takeover: Everything had to be done very quickly, vehicle already had almost 80 thousand kilometres. Interior cleaning inadequate and not very conscientious. Staff kits and camping kits incomplete, camping chairs old and worn out - not worth the hire charge. In the course of the hire: Fridge defective, interior falling apart in places, level indicator for grey water apparently defective - tank displayed as full very quickly. Key for luggage compartment broken off. Return went smoothly.

Difficult to assess. We had a great trip thanks to the B-class van we hired. The plus points : - great team - assistance available and attentive to finding solutions - commercial gesture granted at the end of the rental period following the problems encountered The minuses : - despite the low mileage of the van (48,000km), a lot of things should be fixed: torn mosquito net, damaged furniture, etc. - hose to fill the water tank not watertight, need to sponge every 4 seconds to avoid flooding the van (impossible to do alone) - Engine overheating after a few days (not serious) - Key problem (impossible to turn the engine on or off, solved in a few hours by the local agency in Las Vegas) - Very limited kitchen kit (better to buy it yourself on the spot, it will cost less) - Very brief explanations: no indication of the spirit level or the wheel chocks, no real demonstration to the end (either for the water connection or the oil changes), so you have to adapt a bit on your own as you go along.

An unforgettable experience

The instruction was not sufficient. Instructions for use of heating. Air conditioning hot water and fresh water and domestic water supply would be absolutely necessary, but were not available.

Ezcellent value for money.

Gearbox problems Water pump switch broken Propane gas leak Received old campervan. Problems with gearbox right on the first day. It was stuck with a rubber band that was snapped. As it was the weekend, we were stuck in Santa Maria for 3 days because no mechanic could come. Hotel costs were not reimbursed despite 2 promises. No compensation for the distress we suffered except refund of rent for the 3 days we could not use the motorhome. Not a very customer-friendly company. Some goodwill would have seemed justified to us. But alas... We will not rent a motorhome here in the future if they do not substantially improve their motorhomes and service.

Great service, experience I will repeat with Travellers.

Good service, both from Travellers Autobarn and from camperdays. Everything worked perfectly. The cars are a bit older and already have some miles on them, but you can drive unlimited miles yourself. The solar on the roof was great, so it was possible to stay overnight independently of campsites, which worked very well.

We had an old version and the windows were manual. We had to clean it up again because there were a few things sticking on the dashboard and in the door pockets. The previous tenants must have spilt a drink because there were splashes everywhere. On the other hand, the people at the agency were very pleasant.
