The canyon walls don’t look real; they have a magical glow. Theres a great place called Horseshoe Bend, an iconic viewpoint with the Colorado River looping below you. Flagstaff to Petrified Forest National Park
This short route (280km) can be done in just a few hours and is perfect for those who want a short journey after picking up their motorhome for hire in Arizona. It gives you incredible views without spending all day behind the wheel. Your first stop should be at the nearby Meteor Crater, which was created thousands of years ago. Start in Prescott, a lovely little town where you can stock up on supplies before you head out. Once you are fueled up, head south through some beautiful scenic roads typical of Arizona's classic open landscapes. Stop at Casa Grand, which has a lovely downtown area that's worth checking out. After that, carry on towards Bisbee. It's a former mining town famous for its colourful buildings, art galleries, and friendly atmosphere.
