CamperDays Celebrates 10-Year Anniversary
To celebrate this milestone, CamperDays is offering a 10% discount on all bookings from 28-30 April
Europe’s leading camper tour operator, CamperDays celebrates a decades’ worth of business this month. Since its inception, customers have booked almost a million nights in vehicles rented through the site.
The platform, aka the ‘Booking.com’ of campervans, allows users to choose from a selection of providers globally from just £70 per night. CamperDays prides itself on its wide selection of vehicles to rent, clear pricing and exceptional customer service, ensuring customers are always able to find the perfect vehicle for their trip.
Since launching into the German market in 2013, CamperDays has successfully doubled in business growth every financial year since and now has listings in over 30 countries including the UK, Europe, Australia, USA, Canada, South Africa, as well as recently launching in Italy. In total the platform provides customers with access to over 35,000 vehicles in over 700 destinations globally. To celebrate this milestone, the platform is gifting customers with a 10% discount on all bookings from 28-30 April, using the code HAPPYBIRTHDAY.
Max Schmidt, Head of CamperDays, says “In the last decade we’ve seen the appetite for van life increase exponentially, with people realising the benefits of slow travel, getting out into nature and spending time with loved ones. This is illustrated by the stark increase in bookings, with users booking more than 136,000 overnight stays in 2022 versus 8,000 in 2013. We’re also seeing a great increase in the longevity of campervan holidays, with average booking spend increasing 52% since 2019.”
“More recently, we’re seeing an increased demand for foreign campervan travel with UK customers eschewing staycations for bucket list road trips in the US, Australia and New Zealand. In Europe - Italy, France and Norway remain popular destinations for our road trippers.
"Whilst we have experienced continued success over the last decade of business - now working with 150 partners in over 30 countries globally and providing customers with access to over 35,000 vehicles - we have no plans of slowing down.
“Going forward, we have further territory expansion and partnerships planned for the year ahead in order to cement our position as one of the world’s leading camper tour operators. All to fuel our mission to help even more travellers discover the joy of a care-free road trip and experience the riches that come with ‘logging off’, exploring new cultures, destinations and experiences.”
